Remember When…
Everything and anything seemed possible. Negativity seemed ignorant and smiles came without effort or hesitation. Joy hadn’t yet been tainted with loss. Trust was the norm and fear directly related only to what our imaginations could conjure.
I’m fairly certain that period of time ended at the same point childhood did. Still…I believe tomorrow can be met with the optimism that time has robbed us of.
Tomorrow, when I wake up, I’m going to smile like a little kid. I’ll let you know how it goes…
